Londoners have the chance to live like James Bond, minus the licence to kill, with Savills putting up a Holland Park flat for rent, which the estate agent says used to belong to Sir Roger Moore.
The third actor to play 007 on the big screen died in 2017 aged 89 after a legendary career and equally impressive property portfolio that saw him live all over the world.
Kensington is as nice an area as any, and this two-bedroom property on Holland Park Avenue would be perfect for a Martini bar or your own Casino Royale-style poker night.
The rental will set you back £5,600 per month, so, while you might not need to be an A-list actor or super spy to afford it, it could help.

However, the top floor vantage point might be useful for a spy, and the fact it comes fully furnished would be useful to an M15 operative who is always on the move. The ample storage space on offer could also store away Bond’s golf clubs.
Car parking space for your Aston Martin is not included, but the flat is near to Holland Park Tube station if you need to make a quick getaway.
Savills says that the property would suit a “young couple” or an “individual seeking a secure and stylish rental”.

Savills is unable to say when Sir Roger lived there and when he sold the property but, like the globetrotting Bond, Stockwell-born Sir Roger moved around during his life, initially living in Streatham with the family of his first wife Doorn Van Steyn.

Sir Roger also lived in Tunbridge Wells in Kent and had an 11-acre home in Denham, Buckinghamshire, where Alexander Korda had his famous film studio and close to Pinewood. This was the most pricey of Sir Roger’s British properties, going on sale for £4.5m a decade ago.
The actor also had a home in Monaco and was living in Switzerland at the time of his death, when he was married to Kristina Tholstrup.
His first outing as Bond was in 1973’s Live and Let Die, followed by The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Moonraker (1979), For Your Eyes Only (1981), Octopussy (1983), and A View To Kill (1985).
The flat can be rented now for £5,600 per month. It also requires a £7,753.85 deposit and a £1,292.31 holding deposit.
